Jill Nerby, Executive Director
Jill Nerby is CEO of the Aniridia Foundation International Board of Directors. She founded this 501(c)3 non profit organization which was started as USA Aniridia Network in 2001. In 2006, it has now gone international as Aniridia Foundation International. Jill was born with sporadic Aniridia and glaucoma. Her experiences with this condition, as well as her passion to help others, educate the public, and her desire to make a difference in the Aniridia population, especially for the children of today and tomorrow caused her to create this network.

Edward J. Holland, MD
Professor of Ophthalmology, University of Cincinnati
Director of Cornea Services, Cincinnati Eye Institute
Aniridia Foundation International Executive Board member Dr. Edward Holland also co-chairs the Aniridia Foundation International Medical Advisory Board. His expertise in corneal disease, especially with Aniridia patients, has made many people affected with aniridia travel across the country and the world to be treated by him. His performance in cutting edge stem cell transplantation (keratolimbal allograft) procedures has restored sight to many people. This procedure helps people blinded by aniridia, Stevens Johnson Syndrome, thermal or chemical injuries to the eyes.

Peter A. Netland, MD, PhD
Siegal Professor of Ophthalmology, Hamilton Eye Institute
Director of Glaucoma, University of Tennessee Health Science Center
Dr. Netland has much experience dealing with Aniridia and is a world renown glaucoma specialist. He serves on the Aniridia Foundation International Board of Directors and also as Co-Chair on their medical advisory board. He has been invited as guest lecturer for many national and international meetings, has many peer reviewed publications and has authored several medical books.
Presently, Dr. Netland is Siegal Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of the Glaucoma Service at the Hamilton Eye Institute at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is a devoted, well respected doctor and an excellent surgeon. He is a member of the Memphis Downtown Lions and gives of his time to many charity oriented organizations.

Wendy Baum, CPA, JD
Wendy received a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law.
After law school, Wendy worked in public accounting for seven years. In 2000, Wendy started an internet business called Childguide.com, which provided resources and time saving tips for working parents. Wendy was responsible for raising the company’s capital, creating the business plan, hiring all employees, creating the web site, tracking the financial and tax reporting, and making all sales. After the internet boom went bust, Wendy returned to public accounting and formerly worked as a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s International Tax Services group. She was responsible for advising large multinational clients and managing significant international tax projects, delivering millions of dollars in tax saving.
Wendy is the mother of two children: Jordan (9) and Tyler (5). Tyler was diagnosed with Aniridia and Glaucoma when he was two weeks old. Wendy found Jill via the internet and will FOREVER be grateful for her amazing support, guidance, and constant educational services!

Christopher J. Albrecht, CPA
Director, Finance and Business Development
Chris Albrecht is the founding and principal partner of Ammon & Albrecht, CPA's and Consultants, specializing in the entrepreneurial services sector. Working with business owners, Chris develops strategies for both the business and entrepreneur to grow a successful enterprise. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, business planning, corporate structure, tax and accounting compliance, as well as financial and operational reporting. His knowledge and expertise in these areas is the direct result of his experience with a "Big “5” accounting firm, coupled with financial and operational roles with entrepreneurial businesses in the marketing industry today.
His community involvement includes leading the Good $ense Ministry Team (Financial Planning Course sponsored by SouthBrook Christian Church), coaching girls soccer at Holy Angels and boys soccer at the Coffman YMCA, as well as starting the entrepreneurial network group, Tier 7. Chris and his wife Beth have two sons, Justin and Daniel, ages 8 and 5.
Adam Gibgot
Director, Fundraising
Adam Gibgot is a screenwriter for motion pictures and television. Most recently, Adam’s work was seen in the David Blaine ABC magic special “Drowned Alive.” Adam has sold screenplays to Paramount Pictures, Walt Disney Studios, Warner Brothers, New Line Cinema and Castle Rock Entertainment. Adam has also developed television pilots for NBC,ABC,USA, the SCI FI Channel and Sony Pictures Television. Adam’s most recent screenplay, “Stay At Home Tom,” sold to New Line Cinema and was a comedic, autobiographical account of his life as a father of two. Adam lives in Los Angeles with his wife Jennifer and their two small children, Tyler and Sophia.Tyler was born with sporadic aniridia in March, 2003.
